The Hyperlite Roam Wakeboard is a jib-friendly creation that carries the snowboard season through to summer. Designed for more of a knees-bent, edge-to-edge style of riding, this series allows a rider to rely on the profile of the board to set a turn and hold an edge. Who needs fins anyway? E core opens up a new spectrum for a board to flex torsionally. While riding a Roam, the toeside edge will actually flex differently than the heelside edge. This torsional flex is why our Roam series has an inside radius for the most effective edge. A series that should be a second in any wake enthusiasts quiver! A simplistic design to allow the rider to control every aspect of the drive, snap, and pivot. Key Features of the Hyperlite Roam E Core 139cm Wakeboard: E Core - Innovation thru energy. A 100% wood core brings the torsional flex of your favorite snowboard and a new dimension off the peak of a liquid kicker and on rails. Monocoque Construction - Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts and prevents the ol’ side delamination. ABS Sidewall - You have one of those rides where nothing is going your way. Just feel like smashing your board? Our torsionally stiffest wakeboards were built for the infamous hockey temper. Layered Glass - A non-woven glass available in 4 sizes depending on the size of the board. Over time, woven glass fibers will separate. Every Hyperlite deck will have the same snap on a double after 5 seasons as it will on the first one. | Straight Line B2i Matrix Stiffy Wakeboard Handle Lime | Hyperlite Era Wakeboard Bindings White/Brown - Men's |
The Straight Line B2-I Stiffy Wakeboard Handle Utilizes the standard B2i technology, “stiffy” sidebars and the short loop configuration. This handle is found in the quivers of those who seek a high performance, less expensive version of the carbon handle. The sidebars won’t collapse onto itself while handle passing, creating a quicker and more true pull when initiating your spin. B2-I Interchangeable System: As both fashion and function became high priorities in the watersports community, Straight Line invented the B2i interchangeable system. Building off the B2 bushing idea, Straight Line created a new bushing that uses nubbed extensions that reach deep into the aluminum bar and “click” into precisely drilled holes. The diameter of the bushing matches the elliptical shape of the aluminum bar’s inner diameter, creating a durable and secure fit. To change a bar simply use the B2i tool, provided with the replacement bars, to release the two nubs and pull firmly on the bushing. Matrix Grip: Close to 33% of raised surface with mellow transitions create a grippy but comfortable feeling. The inverted diamond pattern gives you just enough room to sink your fingers in to pull out those sketchy landings. The Matrix grip is offered in Straight Lines 1.1" diameter Single Density technology.

Faster and more explosive pretty well sum up Erik Ruck’s new shape for 2008. Built off one of the best selling Hyperlite boards to date, Ruck made all the changes to perfect his ride. Starting with the rocker line, the new Era moves to a true 3 stage shape. Combine this with an increases in overall surface area and you have a recipe for massive pop.
